Level 1

Course Content:
This course is intended to teach the 42 sounds of English introduced through stories, actions and songs, along with their formation. With this code knowledge, they are taken through stages of blending sounds together to read words and identifying individual sounds in words to spell them.

Level 2
This program is designed to follow on from beginner’s program and intended to teach and build children’s vocabulary and reading skills by providing them with the knowledge of alternative spellings and introduce them to creative writing.

- Continuation of building phonological awareness
- Consonant blends
- Tricky words-reading and spelling
- Consonant blends
- Independent reading, shared reading and guided reading
